Exhibition news
To the thick of events by metro It is a common knowledge that in addition to natural activities like eating, sleeping and shopping the traffic jams have penetrated out life. Everywhere or nearly everywhere we have to stop, let go, stop again, drive a little and do so for several hours. Moscow has changed considerably, new districts were built and if in past times we had to come up from the underground and catch a taxi to get to the destination point faster, now we have to leave the car and go to the underground. Unfortunately, one can never get outside Moscow by metro.
The situation will change soon.
The first Moscow metro station to be built outside Moscow is about to open. According to the Head of the Moscow Underground Railway Dmitry Gaev, the station will be opened in December 2009. Two more stations to be put into operation in this direction are Volokolamskaya and Mitino.
What is especially important here is the fact that Myakininskaya station will be located in proximity to the Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre and some of the station exits will be linked to the exhibition pavilions.
Thus, the exhibition visitors will not be stuck in traffic jams in the Moscow Ring Road or Volokolamskoye Highway anymore, especially in the period of large exhibitions. Now all exhibitors can take the underground and get to the thick of exhibition events for forty minutes, spend the necessary time there and, avoiding all traffic jams, drive home.
The event is crucial for MVK International Exhibition Company which is the strategic partner of Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre and organizes a plethora of exhibitions in its territory.
