The statistical data of Construction Week, held in Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre, have been audited and approved by FKM!

Construction Week is the 1st and the only construction exhibition in Russia, which submitted its statistical data, concerning the main characteristics – exhibit space, the number of exhibitors and visitors, to be audited according to the International standards of FKM. FKM is the Society for the Voluntary Control of Fair and Exhibition Statistics (Germany).

In 2004 FKM authorized Ernst &Young Company to perform the audit of the Construction Week statistics, which was accepted to be absolutely reliable.

The opening of the 13th International Construction Week was a bright spot in the life of Moscow and Russia as a whole.

An official opening ceremony welcomed participation of many honorary guests: Alexander Dianov, Head of the Exhibition Department of the Ministry of Economical Development and Commerce of the Russian Federation; Alexander Krutov, Deputy of the Moscow City Duma; Vitaly Phisichev, Deputy Director of the Science and Industrial Policy Department of the Moscow Government; Pavel Perepelitsa, Deputy Minister of Construction of the Moscow Region Government; Valery Abarykov, Head of the Scientific and Technical Department of the Construction Complex Ministry of the Moscow Region; Georgy Semenov, President of Rosoboi Russian Association; Vyacheslav Boltenko, Director General of the Union of Cement Manufacturers; Alexandra Kurenkova, Director of the Interregional Window Institute, and Alexander Kasianov, Head of Sokolniki District Managing Department. All the speakers were unanimous in opinion that Construction Week in Sokolniki reflects to the full extent the development tendencies of the Russian construction industry.

The 13th International Construction Week was remarkable in its business programme. The event included 14 scientific and technical conferences, seminars and meetings. Seven conference-halls were open simultaneously during five days of the exhibition.

Our company represents a group of thirty factories. This exhibition is exemplary in both the level of service and the setup of the stands. We don't sell through shops, but rather through a network of dealers. Our business is growing now, and we plan to expand into Russia. I am sure that Construction Week will help us in this. I would like to note the outstanding organization of the advertising campaign in the regions. We had visitors from different regions of Russia, including the ones where we would like to sell our products most of all.

The exhibition is well-known in construction circles. It's a project that people look forward to and plan for. We sell industrial equipment for construction of airports, shopping centers, etc. We have found many partners here and have signed some very promising agreements.

There are about 700 exhibitors in all, but not many of our specific specialization.

But we're not complaining. On the contrary, this gives us an advantage over our competitors. We are quite satisfied by the exhibition and will continue to participate.

We are very satisfied with the organization of the exhibition. The advertising campaign was quite good. The catalogue was well laid out. MVK's personnel were attentive to our needs. In comparison with other exhibitions, Construction Week is the best international specialized exhibition project.

We represent a Ukrainian wallpaper factory. We have participated in Construction Week several times. It is nice to see the improvements year after year. We've participated in other exhibitions, but now we participate only in Construction Week, because it's the only exhibition that attracts the full spectrum of wallpaper producers. Russia is our main market, and potential clients are quite familiar with this exhibition, and that is why it is so successful.
